The Steffen Thomas Museum of Art is proud to announce the latest invitational exhibition entitled Vietnam Revisited III: Another Focus. This exciting exhibition features works by Richard J. Olsen, Art Professor Emeritus the University of Georgia, and is curated by Drs. Andrew and Hathia Hayes. The artwork in this collection represents not only the artist’s response to his Vietnam experiences as a helicopter pilot, but also the direction in which his work has moved post-war.
Visit the museum and enjoy this one of a kind exhibit. Whether you are a fan of abstract art, a veteran, or just a civilian art lover, you’re sure to come away with your own interpretation of his beautiful and powerful works. You’ll also be intrigued by the display of Olsen’s method of creating his paintings, a method he calls “Calculations.” The museum is located at 4200 Bethany Rd., Buckhead.
