Senior living development to host community focus groups

Turnberry Court, a newly-announced senior living development proposed for the Lake Oconee area, will be hosting focus groups for prospective residents and/or their adult children on Tuesday, July 24 and Friday, July 27. Two sessions will be held each day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church (South Campus) on Carey Station Road.

The focus groups will provide further details on the Turnberry Court development, including the residences, healthcare services, programming and pricing.  All members of the community are invited to participate in this complimentary event.  Attendees will not be asked to make any commitments, and refreshments will be served.

Turnberry Court is conceptually designed to contain 120 luxurious independent living residences, inviting assisted living apartments and memory care specialty units.  The proposed low density, master planned community will feature lush open spaces, beautiful architecture and a central location near the new St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, Lake Oconee Village and Reynolds Plantation.  Turnberry Court is being co-developed by Vola Group, Eventus Strategic Partners and Foley Design Associates.

“Turnberry Court provides a much needed option for lake area residents,” says Todd Ciavola, managing director of Vola Group.  “We’re excited to share the details of the development and also give those who are interested an opportunity to offer input so we can further personalize the Turnberry Court experience.”

Future sessions will be scheduled to accommodate those who are interested but cannot make the July meetings.  Please call Todd Ciavola at (706) 347-1058 to reserve a place or find out about future sessions.
