On Monday, July 16, the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony with The Mosquito Authority to celebrate the new business owned by Terry Emlet.
The Mosquito Authority offers mosquito control for residential houses or businesses, as well as for special events such as weddings, family reunions and more. The Mosquito Authority has a No Mosquito Guarantee and provides service without a contract.
“I chose to open this business because I saw a need for mosquito control. I also wanted to help others reclaim their backyards for outdoor activities. No more bug repellent on the kids, no more citronella torches or candles, just mosquito free outdoor living,” explained Emlet.
Through the Barrier Spray Program, The Mosquito Authority utilizes an EPA-registered solution that trained applicators apply to trees, shrubs and foliage surrounding outdoor living areas. The program effectively kills all of the mosquitoes that are present at the time of application and serves as an invisible barrier keeping other mosquitoes away for up to three weeks.
“We return once every three weeks throughout mosquito season to reapply and keep your backyard mosquito free,” said Emlet.
The Chamber is proud to welcome The Mosquito Authority as a new member.
According to Emlet, “Chamber membership is a good way to network with other business owners and to help let the public know about the services my business offers.”
