On Tuesday, July 24, the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Bone Island Grill to celebrate the grand opening. The Bone Island Grill is a casual lakeside restaurant serving dinner with a wide range menu consisting of appetizers, entrée salads, pastas, seafood and steaks.
The Bone Island Grill is a local favorite, having earned its reputation at its previous location on Lake Sinclair at Crooked Creek Marina.
“We felt we had a great concept and put in the right location, The Bone Island Gill could be successful,” said General Manager Kara Fuller.
The Bone Island Grill welcomed business with a soft opening June 12, with the ribbon cutting marking the grand opening. The restaurant is located next to The Lodge on Lake Oconee.
According to Fuller, “we felt with the water access and the road front access, it was a location that could thrive throughout the year.”
While customers wait on their table, they may enjoy a game of corn hole while being taken care of by a cocktail server. Catering is also available as well as a banquet room that can accommodate 45 to 50 people. There are two new docks with eighteen slips available to those coming by boat.
The Bone Island Grill is proud to be a Chamber member and part of the community.
“We appreciate the community we are honored to be a part of and want to support the area in anyway,” says Fuller.
The Bone Island Grill is located at 920 Lake Oconee Parkway, Eatonton. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the bar open until 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., with the bar open until 11 p.m. For more information, call (706) 991-1999 or visit www.boneislandgrill.us.
