If you want your family to have a wholesome, home cooked meal but you don’t have the time to cook it then Dinner 4U is at your service.

Residents of Greene and Morgan counties can now have healthy and fresh dinner creations delivered right to their home.

Dinner 4U, a local dinner delivery service, officially opened for business Dec. 21. It provides quality dinners delivered daily right to your doorstep. Dinner 4U is currently accepting orders and launched its first week of deliveries on Jan. 7.

“Trust Dinner 4U to bring tasty, healthy food, cooked with your well-being in mind, straight to your door,” said co-owner Thelma Collins.  

Thelma and her husband Arlie created the delivery service in an effort to provide much needed support to families along with healthy food options that most fast food places do not offer.

“Families are running from school to little league practice, club meetings, then headed home to finish homework, cook dinner, baths and then go to sleep just to wake up and do it all again the next day. Cooking for one or two is sometimes difficult, so we think our empty-nester customers will appreciate our services too.” said Collins.

Final preparations and test run deliveries were made in mid-December to local communities.

Heidi Kalpak’s family of Greensboro was among a few of the lucky test run delivery participants.

“The food was amazing. I think what surprised me the most was the freshness of the food. It’s obvious they are using quality herbs, produce, and meats to make their meals,” said Kalpak.

Chef Brian Long, Dinner 4U chef, has an exquisite menu prepared for January. Dinner options and ordering instructions can be found at www.Dinner4Utonight.com. The site will process dinner orders on a monthly basis. Once a customer signs up for the program they will have a choice of which days they would like meals delivered to their home. For those customers who live outside of the delivery territory, pickup options are also available.

“It’s take out but Dinner 4U takes it up a notch. I feel good knowing I have a healthy dinner options for my family that fits with our budget and lifestyle,” Kalpak said.
