The context of our lives is as important as our goals

Former heavyweight boxer James (Quick) Tillis recalls his first day in Chicago after his arrival from his home in Tulsa. “I got off the bus with two cardboard suitcases under my arms in downtown Chicago and stopped in front of the Sears Tower. I put my suitcases down, and I looked up at the Tower and I said to myself, ‘I’m going to conquer Chicago.’
“When I looked down, the suitcases were gone.”
Be careful not to overshoot your life goals. Keep your eyes focused on your context and see how you can make a difference there.
Don’t let disappointment get you down.
Wishing you much love and much light.
