Slice, Cakes and Fine Confections was one of the many restaurant vendors at the 2012 Tasteful Event.

Tired of dinnertime monotony? If so, make sure to attend this year’s A Tasteful Event and Business Expo. The area’s finest restaurant and caterers will join together to offer guests simply delectable samples from their menus. Your taste buds will delight in trying everything from Harbor Club’s Salmon Beurre Blanc and Braised Short Ribs to sampling gourmet olive oils and vinegars from Plantation Olive Oil Company.

What a great way to start the week.

However, what’s a night out without a little indulgence? This year’s dessert menu is filled with tasty treats. Italian ice will be provided by Piccolos, while Oconee Sweet Sensations is serving up the old southern favorite, peach cobbler. Pie enthusiasts surely won’t be disappointed, yes that’s right, The Yesterday Café will be bringing their famous Buttermilk Pie. Mouthwatering, right? Well, then make sure not to miss out.

The seventh annual Tasteful Event and Business Expo is a great way to ring in September.

Spend a Monday night with friends and family and find a new favorite restaurant. You may even find someone to cater your next tailgate or Monday night football party.

The evening wouldn’t be complete without atmosphere. This year, guests will be able to enjoy live entertainment by Tim Cadiere and The Washboard Road.

So, on Sept. 9 from 6-8 p.m. head out to Lake Oconee Village and see what’s great in Greene. Enjoy a night filled with great food, superb entertainment, a silent auction, business expo and best of all a night of community.
