Reynolds Plantation is pleased to announce the addition of two new employees to their marketing department. Bryce McCuin has been named marketing manager and Ashley Jeffords was selected as marketing communication assistant.
A graduate of The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism, McCuin is no stranger to the Reynolds Plantation team, bringing more than eight years of experience as both a full time employee and contract vendor for the company. McCuin originally began with Reynolds Plantation as a server and bartender in 2005 before transferring to a marketing assistant position. From 2007 to 2011, McCuin served as the marketing coordinator for Reynolds Plantation where he took on a number of duties, most notably production and content creation for “Linger Longer” magazine, contributing to media partnerships with national publications and serving as lead copywriter on several editorial, advertising and web-based projects. McCuin’s efforts at Reynolds Plantation were recognized in 2009 when he was selected as Employee of the Year.
After five years with Reynolds Plantation, McCuin began his own marketing consulting company, JBM Creative, where he represented more than 25 clients both regionally and nationally with marketing support and freelance projects and continued to provide marketing support for Reynolds Plantation on a consulting basis.
As the new Marketing Manager, McCuin will have the lead in marketing projects that include photography and video shoots, advertising initiatives, print production and media placement. “We’re extremely pleased to have Bryce back with the team full time,” says Chris Fedelem, director of marketing for Reynolds Plantation. “As real estate activity continues to increase, his wide-ranging experience, enthusiastic personality and familiarity with the tactics necessary to market this community will be key to our success.”
Outside of Reynolds Plantation, Bryce spends most of his free time with his wife, Jamie, and their three sons, Jameson, five, Joshua, three, and Jackson, 10 months. Bryce also enjoys photography and writing, a passion of his that truly comes in handy for the marketing department.
Originally from Eatonton, Ashley Jeffords is excited about the opportunity to return to her hometown. Also a graduate of The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism, Jeffords’ experience starts with The Gymboree Corporation. With more than four years of retail management experience, she managed multiple store locations while also overseeing various new store openings throughout the Atlanta area. In 2011, Jeffords accepted a position with Rehabilitation Physicians of Georgia (RPG), a pain management and rehabilitation physicians’ group. At RPG, Jeffords served as a medical assistant to one of the physicians in the practice where she coordinated administrative and clinical duties.
As the Marketing Communication Assistant, Jeffords will oversee the production of “Moments”, the member newsletter for Reynolds Plantation, while also assisting in various marketing projects such as press releases, social media and web content. “Along with ample natural talent, Ashley brings a sense of energy and vitality to the team,” says Fedelem. “She is eager to learn and excited about this opportunity. We are pleased to have her join us during such an active period in the history of Reynolds Plantation.”
With her husband Tommy recently graduating from law school in Atlanta and accepting a position with a law firm in the Lake Oconee area, Jeffords is looking forward to returning to her roots. The couple plans on keeping busy in the near future as they settle into their new home and prepare for the arrival of their first child, due in February 2014.
