Dr. Robert L Lynn, well-known author, poet and educator recently treated the Greensboro Writers’ Guild and their guests to an afternoon of poetry readings from his published works.
Dr. Lynn is the author of ten books, two being poetry, “Midnight Verse” and “Cancer Is So Limited, and Other Poems of Faith”. Dr. Lynn’s poems have appeared in numerous publications and journals and have garnered him more than a hundred awards. For three years he edited “The Reach of Song”, the poetry anthology of the Georgia Poetry Society. He also leads the Johns Creek Poetry Group in Atlanta and is invited to read his works across the Southeast.
Following the readings light refreshments were served while Guild members discussed the afternoon’s entertainment and how the readings might help future attempts at writing their own “perfect poem.”
