Louie Herron Toyota in Milledgeville understands the importance of community partnerships and has recognized the August 2013 Love Bucket Recipient’s: The Old Salem Fire Rescue and The Oconee Cellar of Lake Oconee.

The Old Salem Fire Rescue is located in Greensboro. Like most fire departments they work with a limited budget. On behalf of Fire Chief Kurt Fasmer, Love Bucket donations will be used to help the department with equipment costs. The department also hosted their fourth annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 11 to raise money and to remember the firefighters lost in the Twin Towers as well as those who are lost every year.

The Oconee Cellar of Lake Oconee has teamed up with Louie Herron Toyota to raise money for local resident and owner of U.S. Cleaning Service, Theotis Griswold. Theotis suffered from an aneurysm in one of his legs in March 2013, which resulted in a life saving amputation. Love Bucket funds will be used to help raise money for a prosthetic leg for Theotis. Please contact Matt Garafalo at The Oconee Cellar of Lake Oconee 706-453-0420 if you would like to donate. An account has been set up on Theotis’ behalf.

Louie Herron Toyota is the sole sponsor of the Love Bucket Program. If you would like to nominate an organization or become an additional sponsor please visit louieherrontoyota.com/love-bucket.cfm.
