The Putnam County Republican Party is sponsoring and hosting a breakfast (to be prepared by Putnam County Commissioner Alan Foster) for members and GOP candidates for the 2014 US Senate election and 10th Congressional District election.

Breakfast will be held Oct. 26 at 115 N. Madison Avenue from 9 – 10:30 a.m.

Party members, candidates and elected officials alike are encouraged to attend.

Candidates and elected officials participating will join with everyone to eat before getting on the courthouse square to meet and greet members of the public during the Briarpatch Arts Festival.

Confirmed candidates in attendance will be: Rep. Donna Sheldon, Gary Gerrard, Brian Slowinski, Jody Hice and Stephen Simpson.

Confirmed candidates sending representatives will be: Karen Handel, Mike Collins and Eugene Yu.

Rep. Broun will not be in attendance, but a representative will be present.

State Senator Burt Jones and Reps. Rusty Kidd and Mickey Channel are expected.
