Lake Conditions – The Lake is stained up the rivers and lightly stained in the remainder of the lake.

Lake Water Temperature – 68 degrees.

Largemouth Bass – Good – The fish are in shallow water feeding on shad and bream as water temperatures have dropped. Small crankbaits (Shad Raps/Rat-L-Traps, square billed) and topwater plugs will take fish in the larger coves and creeks around large schools of shad.

Crappie –GOOD –The crappie are now staging in the mouths of major creeks (Lick and Sugar Creeks) where trolling jigs and minnows is now your best option.

Hybrid/Striped/White Bass –GOOD – Fishing is better each day as the water temperatures drop and the fish are now feeding actively on shad. Fish can be found anywhere in the mid lake area in the mouths of larger coves. Live shad has been the best bait.

Catfish – NO REPORT.
