Beautiful autumn weather greeted the members of the Harbor Club Ladies Golf Association last week as they and their guests took to the links in their second Pink Ribbon Golf Tournament. The event was held to benefit The Lydia Project Cancer Center in Augusta and this year raised more than $5,000 for the cause.

Committee members Linda Adams, Patricia Balduff, Debbie Burns, Jeri Darfler, Ellie Davis, Dale Fahey, Carol Gordon, Jane Kokoska, Dottie Suggs, Linda VanDuzer and Millicent Zamirowski planned the format, lunch menu and events for the day.

Nancy Brewer, Sherri Bradley, Becky Casey and Dottie Palmer came in the winners. However, many other ladies also went home “winners” as names were drawn for a multitude of fabulous raffle prizes.

Following the luncheon, the ladies gathered the pink ribboned balloons decorating the room, took them out to the patio and released them into the sky in memory of friends and loved ones lost to breast cancer.
