On Friday, July 25, members of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce gathered at Lakeside Church for the second in the three part social media workshops presented by Ken Fehner of the Social Gloo. The second session focused on learning how to make the most of the combination of email and social media for your business, gaining a greater understanding of marketing basics including goals and objectives, the five main social media platforms and simple but powerful tips for these platforms and how to gain visibility and great tools members can use to help engage with existing customers and supporters.
The last session of this three part series will be Aug. 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Lakeside Church and is titled “Social Media Marketing Made Simple and Making the Case for Mobile.” If you’ve been thinking about marketing your business with social media, you may feel overwhelmed and not sure how to get started. Or you may not be convinced that it works. This seminar will show you the value of using social media to reach your customers, how it can lead to new customers or drive repeat business from your current customers and it will provide you with a lot of simple tips for getting started.
Registration for this session is $20 and the session is open to members of the Greene County Chamber and open to the public. For more information or to register, call 706-453-7592.
