The Reynolds Plantation WGA held its Mystery Tournament on July 14 and 15. The format of the tournament was two best net balls of each foursome. The event began with a cocktail party at the Landing Pavilion at 4 p.m. on the 14. Players came to the party not knowing who their teammates would be for the 18-hole tournament the next day on the Plantation course. Each four-person team was determined at the cocktail party to start the camaraderie for the next day.

Players were set up in three flights to compete in the tournament. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the groups were unable to finish all 18 holes. Winners were determined based on the scores on common holes completed.

Winners of Flight one: Linda Lowe/Julie VonHamm/Pamela Bassett/Gail Stark with a score of 57

Winners of Flight two: Toni Waeghe/Rachel Zvolensky/Connie Karpinsky/Leilani Dwyer with a score of 60

Winners of Flight three: Joann dePadua/Ginny Foos/Patti Pociask/Connie Cline with a score of 55
