The Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties offers a free service to collect and properly dispose of any worn or damaged flags. The Rotary Club will collect old flags at the locations listed below. Boy Scouts Troop 316 will conduct the proper flag disposal ceremonies.

To dispose of an old flag, simply drop it off at any of the following locations:

• Greene – Fidelity Bank, 1010 Park Place, Greensboro
• Greene – Herald Journal, 107 North Main, Greensboro
• Greene – Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty, 1010 Village Park Lane, Greensboro
• Putnam – Eatonton Messenger, 100 North Jefferson, Eatonton
