Make sure and visit the Greensboro Business Association's booth at the 8th Annual Tasteful Event! Several businesses will have extended hours the evening of the event, so we look forward to seeing you there!

EATONTON — Tired of dinnertime monotony?

If so, make sure to attend this year’s “A Tasteful Event and Business Expo.” The area’s finest restaurant and caterers will join together to offer guests simply delectable samples from their menus. Your taste buds will delight in trying everything from Smoke on the Water’s Texas Smoked Brisket to sampling Mosaic’s Tikka Marsala.

What a great way to start the week! However, what’s a night out without a little indulgence? This year’s dessert menu is filled with tasty treats. Southern Pear Cobbler will be served by Saint Mary’s Good Samaritan Café and Debra’s Catering will have pecan bites on hand. Pie enthusiasts surely won’t be disappointed, yes that’s right, The Yesterday Café will be bringing their famous Buttermilk Pie!

Mouthwatering right? Well then make sure not to miss out. The eighth annual Tasteful Event and Business Expo is a great way to ring in September. Spend a Monday night with friends and family and find a new favorite restaurant. You may even find someone to cater your next tailgate or Monday night football party!

The evening wouldn’t be complete without atmosphere. This year, guests will be able to enjoy live entertainment by John Dunn and the Jazzmen.

On Sept. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. head out to downtown Greensboro and see what’s great in Greene. Enjoy a night filled with great food, superb entertainment, a silent auction, business expo, and best of all a night of community.

Restaurants participating in this event are: Parkside Theater, Harbor Club- Smoke on the Water, Plantation Olive Oil Company, Amici Italian Café, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Café, Spillin’ the Beans, The Yesterday Café, The Washington Grass Inn, Debra’s Catering Service, Mosaic, Blu Culina, Point Place Markets and the Greene County High School Culinary Program with others signing up daily.

Tickets are being sold in advance for $20 each and $25 (cash or check) at the event. Tickets may be purchased Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Greene County Chamber of Commerce at 111 N. Main St., Greensboro, BankSouth (Lake Oconee), and Exchange Bank (Lake Oconee).
