The Pilot Club of Greene County is once again revving up for its annual Meadowcrest Arts and Crafts Market, Nov. 8, at the Greene County High School in Greensboro.

For many years Meadowcrest has signaled the beginning of the Christmas Season for the Lake Country area with vendors featuring an array of “one of a kind” gifts, crafts, art work, pictures, quilts, handbags, toys, gingerbread houses, and the list goes on and on. They will also begin selling pecans (which will be scarce again this year) for holiday baking, as well as candied pecans for gift giving.

Funds from Pilot Club fundraisers go to assist research, education and scholarships for various brain health issues such as Alzheimer’s Research and Care Giver Workshops, Autistic Education, scholarships for Greene County students, the Newton-Rockdale Brain Injury Camp, just to name a few. Whether a vendor or shopper, your support and generosity will touch hearts and souls of many appreciative families.

If you are a prospective new vendor or one of our “old reliable” vendors call or text Faye Worthen at 706-338-9134 or Ileane Slocum 706-453-6153 as soon as possible for applications and information.
