Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo crashes during test flight

Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo has crashed after what the company described as an “in-flight anomaly” during a powered test flight.
According to the Associated Press, the California Highway Patrol has reported that one of the test pilots has died and the other is seriously injured.
During the test, the vehicle suffered a serious anomaly resulting in the loss of SpaceShipTwo. WK2 landed safely. (2 of 4)

Virgin Galactic is a British commercial spaceflight company that plans to provide space flights to tourists.
