GREENSBORO — Reynolds Plantation Properties is pleased to announce Debbie Balicki and Gene Lowe as the Sales Team of the Month for September 2014. The month’s transactions brought their combined career sales volume to more than $175 million in real estate within Reynolds Plantation.

Originally from Conyers, Debbie Balicki and her husband, Tom, discovered Reynolds Plantation in 1991 and purchased their first lot in Great Waters. Since then, they have owned four properties, built three homes, and lived at Reynolds permanently full time for 16 years.

“When we purchased our first homesite, we never imagined the community would grow the way it has with six golf courses, a neighborhood Ritz-Carlton Lodge, and entertainment options right outside the gates,” said Balicki. “We have watched the community flourish over the years, and we have been so pleased with the lifestyle Reynolds offers.”

Balicki brings more than 19 years of real estate experience to the sales team. Since her start in 1999, she has been recognized both within the company and the Lake Oconee area, receiving various awards including the Phoenix Award for 10 consecutive years of million plus sales in 2011, the Lake Oconee Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club Active Life Member in 2004, and Reynolds Plantation specific accolades as well.

Being avid golfers, Balicki and her husband spend a great deal of their free time on the golf course with friends.

Gene Lowe and his wife, Kay, were living in Roswell, when their friends introduced them to Reynolds Plantation, and they immediately fell in love with the community.

“Kay and I were amazed by the beauty of the lake, the golf and tennis programs, and the welcoming feeling we got from all the friendly people,” said Lowe. “Our youngest son had just moved off to college, so we really had nothing holding us back.”

Twenty-four years later, the Lowes continue to be active members of the Club at Reynolds Plantation.

Originally from Opelika, Ala. and a graduate of Troy University, Lowe spent more than 10 years in sales, traveling the southeastern U.S., before he opened Viking Sauna Health and Leisure Products in Roswell. He sold his business after deciding to move to Reynolds Plantation and joined the sales team in 1990. With several company accolades under his belt, Lowe was recently awarded the Phoenix Award in 2013. He was also named a Lake Country Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club Active Life Member in 2004.

“Debbie and Gene had a strong month in September,” said Lee Arberg, senior vice president of sales at Reynolds Plantation Properties. “This duo has 43 years of combined real estate experience, along with 40 years of combined Reynolds experience – both great resources to people interested in the community and great assets to the sales team.”
