GREENSBORO — The Greene County Christmas Stocking Fund (GCCSF) organization has completed the application approval process for 2014. This year the GCCSF will be providing food, clothing and toys to approximately 300 qualified families and senior citizens. Through this effort, more than 325 children, 13 years and under, and 200 senior citizens will be served.

The GCCSF is a private, all volunteer organization wholly- funded through your donations (no funding from Greene County government). More than 95 percent of donations go to buying food vouchers, clothing and toys for the approved families. The cost to provide for these families, in addition to donated toys, is more than $25,000 each year.
