Greensboro Writers Guild meets

The Greensboro Writers Guild visited the Georgia Writers Museum for its most recent meeting on Oct. 14. The featured speaker was Liah Kraft-Kristaine, J.D. who spoke about her upcoming Writing Workshops. One will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Eatonton Public Library and is free to the public. The second comprehensive workshop will be held at Plaza Arts Center on Sunday, Nov. 9 from 1:30 to 5 p.m. The fee for the workshop is $29.
The members of the Greensboro Writers Guild enjoyed a tour of the temporary facility at 109 S. Jefferson Ave., led by Director Samantha Scoggins. Following discussion and the monthly meeting, the group traveled to the permanent home of the Museum on South Madison Avenue currently being renovated.
The Greensboro Writers Guild welcomes local writers to participate in its meetings where they share and discuss their work.
