It’s a simple question that many newspapers and websites ask every year during the holidays. “What are you thankful for?”

Normally the answers are all the same. Family, health, money, my dogs, etc.

But when you ask any question to a kid, the response can often be surprising. That is what one newspaper found out when they asked a group of 7 and 8 year olds “What are you thankful for?”

According to a photo the newspaper posted on Reddit, Isabella Jerhigan, 8, may have had the greatest response ever. According to her, “I’, thankful for all the dead people because at least they tried.”

The photo doesn’t show which newspaper it came from or what city the kids live in. There is no way to verify that the there is an actual Isabella Jerhigan.

But because her response was so amazing and on point, the photo went viral in a matter of hours Friday morning on several social media platforms. The hunt for Jerhigan is underway.
