GREENSBORO — Reynolds MGA Cup Tournament is a three day elimination event that starts with the top 72 players that accumulated the most Masters Cup Points throughout the year. After the first round the field is reduced to the top 48 players that accumulate the most points. The top 24 players then compete in the final round. This year’s MGA Cup Champion is John Bonno. Congratulations John!

 Reynolds MGA approved the 2015 Board Member nominations at their Annual Meeting held November 15^th following that Saturday’s Turkey Shoot competition. The Turkey Shoot is a 4 man Scramble event that was played at the National Golf Course (Ridge/Bluff).

 Congratulations to the tournament winners:

•  Flight 1 winners were Al Hoyle, Doug Hesse and Ray Handlan
• Flight 2 winners were Adolph Ojard, Frank Gabriel, Alfred Popp and Stephen Brown

Following the golf tournament, the MGA had a luncheon at the Lake Club where they also held their Annual Meeting. The MGA Board, led by current MGA President Tom Aversa, reviewed the past year and updated the MGA members on several topics including results of the recently completed MGA Member survey. The 2015 MGA Board nominations were approved by the members attending the meeting and will be:

This was the final MGA event for the 2014 season. MGA Masters Cup points for 2015 will begin with the first Play Date in December.
