While Goodwill stores have seen some strange donations in the past, this one might land at the top of the list.

Goodwill employees in Lafayette, Indiana were going through a large donation of household goods when they came across two small boxes of cremated human remains, according the the Journal and Courier.

Police used names and the dates on the boxes to reunite them with the families of the deceased.

Store manager Paula Strong told the paper she’s seen some unusual donations, but these were definitely the strangest.
