GREENSBORO — The Jim Higdon’s one-of-a-kind “Santa’s Workshop” Doll House Raffle announced a winner during last week’s Lighting of Greensboro. The drawing for the doll house was held in the Greensboro Antique Mall, where it has been on display for two months. The winning raffle ticket was purchased by Diane and Garry Kirby, of Reynolds Plantation. Each bought a ticket, so both are claiming themselves winners!
“Santa’s Workshop” will hold a place of honor at their house this Christmas season and many others to come, as the Kirby family gathers there to celebrate the holidays. The doll house raffle proceeds, in excess of $1,000 will benefit Greene County’s Pete Nance Boys and Girls Club. The club’s advisory board, director, staff, volunteers and young members wish to sincerely thank the Higdons for their talents and generosity in creating and donating the beautiful house in this exciting fundraising raffle.
