Grace Fellowship is preparing to welcome Dr. Robert Smith, Jr. for an upcoming three-day event called Choose Life. The event is grounded in God’s words to His people found in Deuteronomy 30:19: “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live…”

Dr. Smith serves as Professor of Christian Preaching at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. An ordained Baptist minister, Dr. Smith served twenty years as pastor of the New Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also an award winning author. His book “Doctrine that Dances” is used in a number of seminaries. Dr. Smith sends these words to all who will be in attendance at the services he will be speaking at, “I believe God desires to revive, restore and renew his people… May we come together for that purpose.”

Grace Fellowship would like to invite community members to join us for any one, or all three services that are scheduled. Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Smith will also be preaching during the Sunday morning service beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Dr. Smith will be joined by The Akins. The Akins are three brothers and a dad whose faith and family values shape everything they do. Their musical talent, tight family harmonies, and live instruments create a unique sound that is enjoyed by all ages. They have had multiple chart topping songs. The Akins are two time  “Horizon Group of the Year” nominees by Singing News magazine and have received multiple nominations at the Inspirational Country Music Awards.

The Akins will provide music during the services on Friday and Saturday evenings and on Sunday morning. In addition, they will provide a special concert on Sunday evening at 6:30 pm.
