Traffic cameras aren’t just for stoplights anymore.

In Grand Ledge, a suburb of Lansing, Michigan, the school district has outfitted school buses with compact cameras meant to, among other things, catch drivers illegally passing the school buses when stopped.

The infraction carries a heavy fine, $370, for area drivers.

The cameras also capture footage of what’s happening inside the school bus, including fights or bullying.
