Lake Oconee Urgent & Primary Care Center is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Jasmine Jarrard, Physician Assistant, to their team of health care professionals.

Originally from Lake Oconee, Jasmine Jarrard moved from the lake area to pursue a career in the medical field. Later, she found she missed Lake Oconee so she decided to explore opportunities in her field in the lake area. With her BS degree in Psychology and MPH with a concentration in health promotion and behavior from The University of Georgia, and a Master of Physician Assistant from Medical College of Georgia, Lake Oconee Urgent & Primary Care Center was the perfect fit for her. She accepted a position as Physician’s Assistant at their new location at Harmony Crossing in Eatonton, Georgia where she will join Mr. James Chambers, P.A. as the second P.A of the practice.

“I have always loved medicine and especially urgent/primary care because it is so rewarding and fast-paced. Lake Oconee Urgent Care’s vision is to be the leader in urgent care medicine while providing affordable care in a positive environment, and I am extremely excited to join their team and be a part of this vision,” Jasmine beams, saying that “I was a volunteer at the Tender Care Clinic in Greensboro in 2009 when I decided to go back to school to become a PA. Being back in the area is wonderful, and while working with such a talented team, I’m looking forward to all I can accomplish in my new role.”
