Plaza Summer Camp Dates Announced

The Plaza Arts Center will host again this year two summer camps for children who are rising first graders  through Middle School age students.

Camp Broadway will be held Monday June 6 – Friday June10 from 9 AM – 12 Noon.  Students will received an hour of voice training, dance and drama instruction daily.  Teachers are trained professionals who will teach proper technique as well as content for a Parent Showcase which will be presented on Friday on the Plaza stage. 

The perennial favorite Summer Art Camp will be held Monday July 18 – Friday June 22 from 9 AM – 12:30 PM.  Pottery, drawing, painting, weaving, dance and other projects will engage students as they rotate in small groups among all the various centers each day. On Friday, there is a performance and Show and Tell reception for parents.

Mark these dates on your calendars.  In past years, these have been favorite times to have grandchildren visit, participate in camp, and meet old friends from previous years.  Registration materials are being prepared and will be available in March through The Plaza Arts Center.

The cost for each camp is $80 per child. Some scholarship assistance is available.
