GREENSBORO — Greensboro welcomes sponsors to join in the celebration of the 18th annual Southland Jubilee on April 16.

As attendance at Southland Jubilee grows each year, the festival not only consists of a day-long event of family-fun, but also provides a significant economic impact on the local businesses of historic downtown Greensboro.

Sponsorships have always been a huge part of the success of the festival. With the growth of the community, increased promotion and the support from local businesses, this year’s festival is expecting 8,000 in attendance. Southland Jubilee is now accepting sponsorships for the event.

“Southland Jubilee brings so many people to Greene County, not only for the day of the festival, but for the entire weekend. Local residents and visitors from all over the state are drawn together for this event,” said David McKoy, co-owner of C.W. Smith Insurance Agency and dedicated sponsor. “Sponsoring the festival is a way to showcase what all Greensboro has to offer and in turn benefits our local economy.”

Sponsorships are also a way to show support to the local community, where the results of sponsoring this annual festival are exponential. Not only does sponsorship of Southland Jubilee allow for the planning and execution of the festival each year, but in addition provides guaranteed exposure for those businesses that help support it. There are multiple sponsorship levels businesses can choose from.
