The Greene County Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony is just around the corner. Come join the celebration on April 11 as chamber members, guests and award recipients spend the evening celebrating what is great in Greene. This annual event will be held from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at The Ritz Carlton Lodge in Greensboro.
Tickets are now on sale for $125 and may be purchased Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Greene County Chamber of Commerce at 111 North Main Street, Greensboro.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greene County Chamber of Commerce. Contact the Chamber at 706-453-7592 or visit www.greeneccoc.org, for details.
This year’s event will feature comedian Jim Gossett, steak dinner, 50/50 Raffle, cash bar and the annual awards presentations. We appreciate any support you can offer for this year’s event. If you would like to sponsor or for more information, email Lindsay Sumner lindsay@greeneccoc.org.
One of the most anticipated presentations is the Student of the Year award. Each year nominations from each school are submitted and two students are chosen for this award. This award is a great way to support the diligence of students and teachers in all schools in Greene County. Don’t miss out on celebrating this and the other awards of the evening such as Volunteer, Agri-Business, Large Business/Industry and Small Business of the Year.
