LithaMoonGallery is proud to present, A Harmonious Palette. An exhibition of fine paintings by Greene County based painter Sandra Witty.

Sandra Witty’s experience as a painter spans decades. Her list of accomplishments and outstanding skill over the years have built her reputation as an artist. She has earned her place as one of the Southeast’s best woman painters recognized both regionally and nationally. She has honed her skill to create images of subtle beauty and depth through many years of observation and exploration. In her work the importance of light and colour dominate her canvases. Outstanding landscapes and still-life compositions make up much of her very large body of work. Images that have been recognized here in Georgia and beyond.

She uses quiet gentle tones , as well as, bright bold pigments to create mood. Moving and placing colours side by side to create tension or invoke a sense of calm.

Her landscape and still-life compositions are rich and vibrant. Expressing her enjoyment of the spontaneity of plein air painting. In contrast to the representational she has branched out into expressing moods through forms in several interesting contemporary interpretative works.

A Harmonious Palette is a feast for the eyes! An exhibition that should not be missed.

An Artists Opening Reception will be held at the gallery on July 30, 2016 at 5:00pm.

Ms. Witty will speak about her work at 5:30pm There will be light refreshments and libations provided. The reception is free, family friendly and open to the public.
