The CAC in Erie County got two grants, totaling $34,073.
The Crawford County Commissioners got $49,186 to hire a coordinator for the county’s multi-disciplinary team for responding to child abuse allegations.
The Mercer County CAC got $39,382
The CAC in Lawrence County got $55,000.
The CAC in Butler County got $49,972.
Somerset County got $50,000 to help develop a CAC in the county.
The CAC in Cambria County got $99,688, in part to begin offering Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for victims of child sex crimes.
The CAC in Blair County got $50,000 to hire a new forensic interviewer.
The Bedford County commissioners got $39,000 to hire a coordinator for the county’s multi-disciplinary team.
McKean County Commissioners got $48,694 to hire a family advocate/case manager for the CAC in that county.
The CAC in Jefferson County got $49,962.
Clearfield County got $50,000 to use to continue working to develop a CAC.
The Bradford County CAC got $45,652.
The Franklin County CAC got $50,000.
The York County CAC got $50,000.
The Luzerne County CAC got $99,920.
The Pike County District Attorney got $50,000 to help start a CAC.
The Bucks County CAC got $50,000.
The Montgomery County CAC got $50,000.
The Delaware County CAC got $99,611.
A CAC operated by the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance got $50,000 for a forensic interviewer.
Other organizations serving victims of sex abuse split 13 grants worth $607,717
AWARE, Inc. in Mercer County got $44,000 to hire a youth advocate to work with victims of child sex abuse.
Victim Outreach Intervention Center, Inc. in Butler County got $46,585 to provide services to survivors of child sex crimes and their facility and at the county’s CAC.
Women’s Center of Beaver County got $45,096 to help survivors of child sex crimes.
Center for Victims in Allegheny County got $48,657 for a counselor advocate to work with victims and their families.
Victim Services, Inc. in Cambria County got $44,656 to hire a victim’s advocate.
Centre County Women’s Resource Center, Inc. got $50,000 to hire a victim’s advocate.
Women In Need in Franklin County got $50,000 to advocate for the county’s CAC and provide follow-up services to survivors of sexual assault.
Newport Counseling Center LLC got $39,908 to provide treatment to victims of child sex crimes in Perry County.
The Children’s House in Bradford County got $38,815 to hire a victim’s advocate.
The Network of Victim Assistance in Bucks County got $50,000 to provide in-home services to 30 child victims of sex crimes.
The Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project got $50,000 to combat child sex trafficking.
The Support Center For Child Advocate in Philadelphia got $50,000 to assign social workers to help victims of child sex crimes.
The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance got $50,000 to hire a family mental health care coordinator to make sure victims get connected to trauma-therapy.
Four training programs split $89,929 in grants
Crime Victim Center of Erie County, Inc. got $20,475 for master’s level training for counselors to work with survivors of child sex crimes.
Parkside Psychological Associates in Crawford County got $38,644 to train seven therapists in Advanced Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and train four therapists in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.
The MAYA Organization in Allegheny County got $11,646 to train six mental health workers in in EMDR a method of treatment for trauma and PTSD.
Central PA Behavioral Health Collaborative, Inc. in Blair County got $19,164 to provide training to improve treatment for survivors of child sex crimes and their families.
