Jimmy Britt Chevrolet Buick GMC partnered with Lake Oconee Academy in Greensboro, and joined forces with the national Chevrolet Youth Baseball program to provide new equipment, invitations to free instructional clinics, and a monetary donation.

2019 marks the 14th year of Chevrolet’s Youth Baseball program and has benefitted over 7 million players since it launched. In 2018, more than 1,100 Chevrolet dealers participated across the country. 

Jimmy Britt Chevrolet Buick GMC presented Lake Oconee Academy with an equipment kit that includes useful items such as equipment bags, first aid kits, batting tees, and T-shirts. The sponsorship also includes youth clinics featuring current and former MLB/MiLB players and coaches, or instructors from Ripken Baseball. 

In addition, Jimmy Britt Chevrolet Buick GMC presented a check representing a one-time monetary contribution to Lake Oconee Academy Baseball for $500 and provided a Test Drive Event that earned the program an additional $500 for a total contribution of $1,000 to the Lake Oconee Academy Baseball program.
