Knights of Columbus installs new officers

The Knights of Columbus Council 13808 from Christ Our King and Savior Church held their 2019-2020 officer installation ceremony on July 15at the church. Officiating was Ken Weber, the Georgia State District Deputy. During his acceptance remarks the incoming Grand Knight Mark Holihan recognized the outstanding service of the outgoing Grand Knight Jim Blankenheim. A reception dinner followed the ceremonies at Da Corrado’s Ristorante for the new slate of officers and their guests.

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization with more than 1.9 million members.  Locally, the Pope John Paul II Council located at Christ Our King and Savior Church has 189 members and serves Greene, Putnam and Hancock counties.
