With Harbor Club on Lake Oconee now in its third year as a hand-picked Southern Living Inspired Community, the award-winning lake and golf community continues to celebrate its partnership with the iconic publication with the public grand opening of its second and stunning Southern Living Inspired Home on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Framed by the 3rd hole of the award-winning Harbor Club golf course, the Southern Living Inspired Home will be open to the public — subsequent to the grand opening — throughout September weekends, with home tours open on Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays 1 to 3 p.m. The home also is open to tour through a private appointment arranged by contacting 706-453-7855.

There is no charge to tour the Southern Living Inspired Home in Harbor Club, although a modest donation is suggested, which will fully benefit the Oconee Regional Humane Society.

The Southern Living Inspired Home is a 3,418-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath plan 

located on the 3rd green of the Weiskopf/Morrish-designed course, offering magnificent views of a large pond and waterfall. Named The Double Eagle because of its golf course frontage, the home is an all new plan by Patriot Builders representing standout new construction for the Southern Living Inspired Community. 

The home has a modern farmhouse influence and was designed by renowned architect Calvin Cline, with interior design being provided by Tracy Cook from Design, Etc., out of Buford, Ga.

The home offers an open-concept kitchen, great room, dining room, master suite, powder room and oversized laundry room, all on the main floor.
