• Wi Fi Connected: Data is not free. Having more devices in your home means more data. You will need to be able to carry the new data load. You may have to buy new hardware. Remember, everything is connected to the internet!  
• Cybercriminals: The online world can be dangerous. Connecting to the internet bring cybercriminals into play.  
• Expensive: It is still top of the range products.  Your budget will feel the expense. Make sure you buy brands and products that will collaborate. Do your research and find the experts for your installation. 

For those who enjoy the convenience of home automation, Smart Home devices will fit the bill. Smart Home technology has been longed for since we were wowed by science fiction movies.  The question is: should you be one to early adapt or wait for safer and more affordable options.  Remember when television first came out. Did we ever think that we would be experiencing this phenomenon?
