On Sept. 25, the Lake Oconee Elks Lodge donated $2,500 to the ‘Pets Love Vets’ program started by the Rotary Club a few years ago.  The donation is continued support for the program which places pets from animal shelters with Veterans that would benefit from the companionship of a pet but cannot afford to purchase one.
