Maggie Bellville, co-president of the Harbor Club Ladies League opened the October meeting by welcoming members and introducing guests Margaret Copeland, Pam Myers and Kimberly Bennett.

Barb Costa asked the ladies to save the date of December 17^th for the Christmas Party.

Dale Fahey reminded all of the Annual Pink Ribbon Golf Tournament being held on Thursday, and that non-players could buy tickets for the numerous prizes being raffled off that day.

Mary Beth Schmidt reported on upcoming activities: a visit to historic Jefferson, GA for tour and lunch on October 24 and a trip to the Atlanta Merchandise Mart on November 6 to shop, lunch and shop 

Maria Wheeler introduced the afternoon’s speaker, Kimberly Bennett from the Circle of Love Center, a charity the HCLL has been involved with since its inception.  She explained the impact of the Center in helping abused women and children find refuge from abuse in five of our local counties.
