GREENSBORO, Ga. — To assist the Greene County business community with completing their required tax forms, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce has arranged and partnered with the Greene County Tax Assessor’s Office to provide a training program on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 6 to 7 p.m. 

The staff of the tax assessor’s office will be available to meet, educate, and answer any questions you may have about the required forms. The program is offered free of charge to the general public and will be at the County Administrative Offices located at 1034 Silver Drive, Greensboro.

The Greene County Tax Assessors office has just mailed the 2020 Business Personal Property Tax Returns to Greene County businesses and short-term rental property owners. Georgia Law requires that businesses complete the forms and return them to the tax assessor’s office by April 1, 2020, or they will be subject to a 10% penalty fee. 

The program is offered free of charge to the general public.
