GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Greene County Chamber of Commerce continues to lead the community with creative ways to support Georgia’s Lake Country during this global crisis.

In an effort to show appreciation to our frontline workers and support Greene County Chamber of Commerce restaurant members, the Greene County Chamber is establishing a Feed the Frontline program.

The Chamber will collect contributions from the general public on the Chamber’s website, Greeneccoc.org. These contributions will only be used to fund the Feed the Frontline initiative. Frontline employees and first responders will be given a $10 gift certificate towards a meal at Chamber Member Restaurants, which are: Iron Fork Café, Zaxby’s in Greensboro, Chick-fil-A in Greensboro, Wing Maxx, Café 44, Filet Steak & Seafood, and PJ’s Coffee. The number of gift certificate distributions is dependent on the amount of monetary contributions collected.

“The people are the heart and soul of our community. We want to support, encourage and thank anyone who is serving our community on the frontline. They are sacrificing a great deal and it is not going to go unnoticed. I’m proud to announce the Chamber is making the first contribution of $1,000.00 to launch the Feed the Frontline program! We hope our community will band together to make sure that our frontline is thanked and fed as they continue their critical work in our community,” said Chamber President Terry Lawler.
