Zimmerman joins J.V. Dell, P.C.

David M. Zimmerman, attorney at law, has joined the team at J.V. Dell, P.C.

Zimmerman graduated from Penn State in 1984 with a degree in aerospace engineering, then worked for four years as a project engineer at the Naval Ordnance Station, Indian Head, Maryland, where he designed, tested and produced explosive devices for Navy weapons systems. In  1991, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. 

He worked until June of this year with the Indiana, Pa.-based law firm of Bonya Gazza & DeGory, first as an associate, then a partner. His 29 years of practice have been wide-ranging, focusing on litigation, real estate, energy law, and other business and personal matters. He has substantial experience representing individuals and businesses in civil court, including jury and bench trials and appellate cases. 

HE and his wife, Helen, have three adult children — Mary, an ICU nurse in Jacksonville; David, a technical solutions sales/engineering specialist with IBM in San Francisco; and Grace, a senior accounting major at the University of South Carolina.
