The Greene County Pastors met on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Grace Fellowship Church to plan the agenda for the upcoming rally. Approximately 16 were in attendance at this large non-denominational planning meeting.
The opening and closing segments were agreed to quickly and the group moved on to the remainder of the agenda. Prayer is obviously the main purpose of the rally with music incorporated in the event.
Pastors Jimmy Long of Grace Fellowship Church and Ricky J. Cosby of New Springfield Baptist Church were selected as co-Masters of Ceremony for the rally. Prayer topics were then suggested and several pastors in attendance will lead these prayers.
At the rally participants will pray and be guided by II Chronicles 7:14 — “If my people shall humble themselves, pray, turn from their wicked ways, God will hear them and forgive them and heal their land.”
This is a non-partisan, non-political and non-denominational movement to Pray for the salvation of our country.
