Harbor Club Ladies League holds April meeting

Several of the newest HC Ladies League members at the Meet and Greet get-together in April.

The Harbor Club Ladies League held its first post-Covid meeting in April at The Stables. Pastries and Coffee took the place of a luncheon to better observe social distancing.

Co-President Maggie Bellville opened the meeting by welcoming members and guests. She then introduced speakers Ginger Reyser and Jim Pounds from the SAVE MY 44 Committee. They were there to explain what changes their group believes should be made to the current GDOT plans and all issues pertaining to this proposed development. He encouraged all members present to contact the County Commissioners to voice their individual concerns and opinions.

 

Maggie Belville then announced that the new board members will be installed at the May meeting. Co-Presidents – Nell Lynch and Debbie Cherry; co-vice presidents – Cyndie Klingensmith and Janie Davis; Secretary – Sandra Schmid and Treasurer – Teresa Schulz were nominated and elected.

Earlier in the month a Meet and Greet was held at the Clubhouse to introduce and welcome thirty of the forty-four new members to the Ladies League officers and to familiarize them with the League’s  plans and projects.
