Adding to her ever-growing list of accolades, coveted Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country REALTOR®, Mirjam VanStekelenburg, recently became the 15th agent in the firm to receive a Global Luxury Home Marketing Designation as well as a Global Luxury Specialist Certification.

GREENSBORO, Ga. – Adding to her ever-growing list of accolades, coveted Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country REALTOR®, Mirjam VanStekelenburg, recently became the 15^th agent in the firm to receive a Global Luxury Home Marketing Designation as well as a Global Luxury Specialist Certification. In addition, VanStekelenburg recently attained her Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.

In order to be eligible for the luxury home designations, agents must display both a proven track record of success within the luxury market as well as completion of intensive training through the Coldwell Banker Luxury Institute. During training, agents develop a plethora of skills catered to marketing and selling luxury residential real estate, including identifying luxury properties, proven marketing strategies, and building relationships with potential luxury buyers and sellers. 

With respect to the GRI designation, agents must complete 120 hours of post-license coursework on topics ranging from marketing techniques, legal issues surrounding real estate transactions, networking with potential buyers and sellers, and integrating state-of-the-art technology into business practices. The GRI was designed by the National Association of Realtors® to provide elite agents with the skills and tools necessary to navigate the modern real estate climate irrespective of market conditions. According to the Georgia Association of Realtors®, agents with GRI designations, on average, increase overall production by 30%.

Besides obtaining these designations, VanStekelenburg was also recently inducted into the International Diamond Society for her work in 2020, which is presented annually to the top 15% of over 90,000 Coldwell Banker agents worldwide.
