On May 22, RE/MAX Lake Country held a fundraiser for Greene County HS College and Career Academy. They raffled off a rocket stove made by the GCHS welding department and Mary Eubanks was the winner.  The raffle ticket also entitled participants to a tethered ride in the iconic RE/MAX hot air balloon. The event raised $1,700 for the school. Forty-one people took a tethered ride and 50-plus people bought a BBQ plate. The food and the balloon were paid for by RE/MAX Lake Country so every penny raised went to Greene County HS CCA.
