The Greene County Toastmasters Club is proud to welcome new members: Ricardo Bocanegra from Australia, Nga Tran from Viet Nam and Jack Pham from Canada.

VP of Membership, Kristine Mapp said: “Thanks to the Zoom virtual meeting platform we are now able to enjoy new members from all around the globe. Wow! How wonderful is that? Both Toastmaster Bocanegra and Toastmaster Tran are serving as the new Club Coaches for the 2021-22 year. Along with Jack Pham, all three are dual members who also belong to other clubs in their home countries. The Greene County Club is exceedingly fortunate to have such a diverse membership. There are now five different countries represented in our  membership including Harsha Fernando, a citizen of Sri Lanka, who became a member in August of this year.”

Toastmasters International is a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Membership is open to anyone 18 years old or older who has a desire for self improvement. Greene County Toastmasters meets the second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Tuesdays of the month, beginning at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Currently meeting on the Zoom virtual platform makes it easy for anyone to join the meetings on a PC or cell phone so long as they have the Zoom application downloaded.
