GREENSBORO, Ga. — Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its Third Quarter Employee Awards for 2021.
Jackie Morgan, restaurant manager at Richland Pointe, has been named Leader of the Quarter, while Traci Garner, HRIS administrator at Human Resources, and Alison Luttrell, Concierge for Golf Administration, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
Before joining the Banquet Department at Reynolds, Jackie Morgan graduated from Auburn University and had a short career as an insurance adjuster. More than a year ago she joined Reynolds as a banquet manager and began her Reynolds journey. Through her hard work and dedication, she became restaurant manager at The Tavern. She continued to grow as a leader, developing her team and making sure that Membership always received world-class hospitality in the busiest restaurant at Reynolds. Recently, Jackie was promoted to another new role, opening the new Richland Pointe restaurant. Her strong leadership, glowing personality, and uncompromising work ethic will help her continue to be successful in the years to come.
“I love my food and beverage team,” Morgan said. “I have had great mentors to look up to. My staff inspires me to want to do better, they try so hard and give their all to Richland Pointe and they deserve someone who gives their all to them. My favorite part of Reynolds is the people I get to work with, everyone braces each other like family.”
Morgan recently married her sweetheart, Dustin, in September of this year. She grew up riding horses and is interested in rehabilitating thoroughbred horses after their racing careers end. They have two spoiled dogs, Albert and Jade. Jackie loves cheering on Auburn University — “Go War Eagle”!
Traci Garner is a smart and hardworking employee for the Human Resources department. She goes that extra mile to welcome all new employees to Reynolds and to get everyone into their roles quickly. Garner worked for Wells Fargo Advisors before beginning her career at Reynolds in 2019. In her role as HRIS administrator, she strives to ensure all new Reynolds employees are taken care of and is responsible for processing all employee data for new hires.
“I just love people and especially the people I work with,” Garner said. “I enjoy that I get to interact with employees from all departments in Reynolds, and I like how we all work great together.”
Garner is an active member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton, where she also volunteers her time as the church nursery director. Garner and her husband, Clayton, love spending time with family. They have a son, Kevin Byrd, daughter, Lauren Pressley and three grandchildren — Dalton, Adley and Kade.
Alison Luttrell began her Reynolds Lake Oconee journey at The Creek Club, before transitioning to The Kingdom and now with Golf Group Sales. Prior to being a Reynolds employee, Luttrell was a teacher at Bibb County School System, a paraprofessional with Houston County School System and a substitute teacher with Gateway and Putnam County School Systems.
“Along the way I have been mentored, given training, and always had someone to answer my questions,” Luttrell said. She’s very proud of the work her teams have accomplished this year. “From July until the end of 2021, our Group Golf Sales and Guest Services Teams will have served 50 different golf groups and over 990 people. I love my wonderful teammates, and I have been surrounded by positive and encouraging people. At Reynolds I’ve had the privilege to speak with active and retired military, published authors, and a scientist, the list is vast!”
Luttrell is a graduate of Georgia College in Milledgeville. She has three sons, Griffin, Gray and Greer, and one daughter, Lucy. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, cooking and reading. She volunteers for Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Junior League of Macon.
