Have you ever wondered why you live in one of the most beautiful areas in the Good Ol’ USA??

If you live here, we think you can tell everyone you know that this is like living in paradise.

After moving here from Wisconsin 25 years ago we have experienced the true splendor of the lake, finest golf courses in the country, relaxed atmosphere and good old Southern hospitality.

How the area has changed since our move 25 years ago. It was pretty much woods. We have seen the growth first-hand, from restaurants, movie theater, grocery shopping, shopping villages, marinas, gas stations, churches and of course the Ritz-Carlton. Our new hospital and the medical facilities offer our area the top-notch health professionals.

Are we privileged?

The area offers some of the most beautiful campgrounds, recreational water to enjoy any water sports, and The Kingdom for the professional golfer or novice to learn the game of golf or brush up on their skills.

And what about the Fisherman?

One of the top bass-fishing lakes in all of Georgia. Lake Oconee is also a great destination for a family vacation. This beautiful lake is right off I-20 and has all the amenities. In addition to bass the reservoir has quality populations of other fish species. Crappie, catfish, white bass, bluegill, stripers, hybrid striped bass and sunfish all reside here. With 376 miles of shoreline to fish, this 19,000-acre lake has plenty of fishing holes for those who fish out of a boat and those who prefer to fish from the bank. Lake Oconee is located in the east-central part of the state, two miles west of Greensboro. Numerous boat ramps allow for launching of bass boats, pontoons and all kinds of pleasure boats.
